Tough Mudders support the Wounded Warrior Project and are the most veteran friendly events around. In essence it is a special forces type obstacle course open to the public and supports a great cause. The next closest soonest one to NorCal is the Tough Mudder Los Angeles. On April 5th and 6th, 2025 prices range from $104.81 for a 5k, 12 obstacle event to from $131.45 for a 20 obstacle 15k, prices are according to website as of March 27, 2025 and are scheduled to rise on March 31st, check the webpage for further details. There are also multiple laps available for a higher cost and another event in Big Bear, September 5th-7th 2025.
